We started very small, in a Chinatown food court at Mott Street Eatery. It was tough, but all of us worked hard to build the Himawari brand. No matter how difficult it was, we never gave up on our sunflower.

We kept going. We joined summer street festivals, Japanese festivals, and every opportunity we could just simply because we wanted our customers to know us more, see us more, and remember us. We truly believe in the quality of our products, and we put our hearts into every cup of drink and every bite of dessert.

We used all of our knowledge, our life experience and poured everything into our dream café.

Today, we’ve reached another step “Himawari Café in the East Village”.

Not big, not too small, but filled with love. Every detail, every decoration, every seat, and every wall tells our story. This is what Himawari has become today.
